![]() | Personally, I do not have a set format. Occasionally I have that 'light-bulb' moment that gives me the audience-grabbing introductory paragraph, but generally I find that by the time I have identified my style of speech, determined my central theme and collated all my material, a clear pattern emerges of how I will place this material in the speech. As I research my material I always keep an eye out for a strong introduction and conclusion. I find that I am so focused that I am practically halfway there as I start to write the outline of my speech and it all seems to fall naturally into place.
